My 1st Cosplay Shoot: Kimi Clay a.k.a Akiko Kawaii

Kimi Clay is a client that found me through my Model Mayhem page. She contacted me through my facebook page and asked if I would be interested in a cosplay photo shoot and I of course said yes. Granted I knew nothing of the anime series Angel beats but I was willing to learn. I looked up poses and episodes so I could get a feel for the Attitude Yui gave off. At this time too I started to learn about retouching in Lightroom and I think these have to be my best pics yet! The very Overdue Post: The Laura Aielli Photo Shoot.

So what do you get when you are practicing with your camera and you shoot a friend you’ve just made and life gets in the way of photography? You get a photo shoot that you shot months ago that you’ve just now posted. Ugh, go me. Sorry Laura, I promise that it wasn’t because I didn’t want to add these to my blog!!! Hi All!

My name is Veronica Nelly Costas. I am 25 years old and I currently live in Alpharetta, GA. I am the luckiest girl in the world! I have a wonderful fiance who is my rock and confidant and I have an almost one year old (!) daughter named Lenneth Marie who is a healthy (knock on wood) happy, bundle of energy who lights up my day by just smiling. When I’m not working at my current job, I enjoy working on my photography (of course) knitting, writing, and reading!

Photography has always been a integral part of my life. There was never a day or event that a camera was present. I used to joke that since I was the only child, my parents would take pictures each time I would take a breath! But to be honest, I really didn’t get into photography until this year when I bought my first DSLR. I was always the point and shoot camera type of girl, but no more! Nikon, you are my first and only love! So now, I’m hoping to tend and nurture my photography career! I hope you’ll come along for the ride, as we hit the good times and the inevitable bad times. Bear with me, for I am human and will no doubt make mistakes, but I hope that you will some day in the near future choose me to be your photographer!
